The House of Staunton Collector's Club offer special savings for
individuals interested in collecting House of Staunton-brand Chess Products. For
a one-time fee of $50.00 USD, the individual will receive a lifetime membership
to the House of Staunton Collector's Club. Once your purchase for membership has
been placed, you will automatically receive an email with information and
instructions on the House of Staunton Collector's Club Membership system. If you
plan on using your Club Membership to purchase additional items immediately, we
recommend that you purchase the Club Membership first and then order the
merchandise using the Club Membership System.
There are several benefits to membership: These include:
- Discounts on House of Staunton-brand Chess equipment. With a minimum
discount of 10% off MSRP, the savings can equal or exceed the membership fee
on your first purchase. For example, a Club member will save $69.99 USD off
the purchase of a 4" Ebony Collector Chess set, netting an overall
savings of $19.99 after paying for the membership fee. In addition, that
club member will be entitled to continue to enjoy those savings for the rest
of his life.
- The Club Membership Discount CAN be combined with other discounts and
promotions!
- Significant discounts on close-out House of Staunton-brand Chess
Equipment.
- Early notice on sets about to be retired. Occasionally, the House of
Staunton does discontinue lines of Chessmen. Examples of this include the
Liberty Series, the Reykjavik '72 Series and the Windsor Series Chess Sets.
When these items are discontinued, they are offered at a tremendous discount
off their MSRP. Our House of Staunton Collector's Club members receive
advance notification about these soon-to-be discontinued items, insuring
that they will be first in line to take advantage of those savings.
- Early notice on sets about to be introduced. Each year, the House of
Staunton introduces between 3-5 new lines of limited edition Chessmen. All
of these limited edition series come with their own unique production number
that distinguishes their set from the others produced. In terms of
collectability, the lower the production number, the more collectable the
item is. Our House of Staunton Collector's Club members receive advance
notification about these soon-to-be released items, insuring that they will
be first in line to make a purchase and secure the lowest production number
possible. .
